Presque is inspired by the big water of Lake Superior, or as the Ojibwe called it, gichi-gami. The weathered land and rugged coastline offered little in the way of leisure for those here long ago. The ebb and flow of the water, and the slowly decaying remnants of a bygone industry. These are the things in which Presque was forged. It never battened down the hatches and never turned its back. It’s weathered, worn and proud.
